With only six weeks until the August 10th primary (and just three weeks until ballots start to arrive), our campaign enters the final sprint toward Election Day! My schedule is already jam-packed as I continue to go door-to-door and talk to voters in every precinct in District 7. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t personally meet every potential voter in the district alone.
I need your help to win on August 10th.
This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about the people of Northeast Denver having a representative who responds to them, not the corporate special interests.
Just yesterday, I was honored to receive the support of Colorado’s electricians. Two of my uncles and one of my cousins are electricians, as was my grandfather. While I am proud to have the support of electricians, I had to tell them that I would be sending back their $500 PAC check. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m the only candidate in the race not taking money from PACs or lobbyists. With one of the last fundraising deadlines at midnight tonight, will you help me make up that $500? All I need is 10 people to give $50.

Most importantly, I would like to invite you to our Sprint to the Finish: Fifth of July Barbecue! We will kick off the final stage of the primary campaign with a personal letter to District 7 voters, and I need help stuffing envelopes. We’ll also grill some food and enjoy the day off!

When: Monday, July 5th from 2pm to 7pm
Where: Mark’s house (8998 E. 25th Drive)
We’ll be grilling around 5:00, so stop by for a couple hours of envelope stuffing and some food. I’ll also be going door-to-door in the morning, so give me a call if you want to join me!
